” So, there’s an organization founded by one of the nurses here in the PICU. They try to make hospital life easier for the kids who are stuck here and their families. Well they found someone who was willing to send Bry and I out for dinner and a movie. So we went!! It was so nice!! We went to Chili’s and then saw Transformers. We celebrated Aid’s last night being intubated! Not gonna lie though, every time we go out, we feel super guilty for leaving Aid. In case they happen to read this: Dear People In Crisis United, Thank you so much for thinking of us! We loved our date night and we had a great time! You are amazing!!”
